Since 2017 when the European Commission Implemented Regulation (EU) 2017/962 suspending the use of ethoxyquin as a feed additive for all animal species and categories, including fish meals and oils, there has been an increase in economically viable replacement antioxidants for fish meals and fish oils intended for the European Market.
